Cookie Policy
Last updated: August 2026
This policy explains how Erryn.io Ltd uses cookies and similar technologies on erryn.io and, where this policy is linked from them, our browser-based software Services.
For information about how we collect, use, retain, and protect personal data more generally, please see our Privacy Policy.
What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small pieces of information stored by your browser when you visit a website. They can be used to make a site function, remember choices, maintain security, or understand how the site is being used.
Websites can also use other technologies that store information on, or access information from, your device. These can include browser storage, scripts, tags, and similar technologies.
For simplicity, this policy generally refers to all of these as cookies and similar technologies.
How we use them
We currently use two main categories of cookies and similar technologies:
| Category | Purpose | Consent required? |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Website operation, security, fraud and abuse prevention, and remembering privacy choices | No, where the applicable legal exception applies |
| Analytics | Understanding how visitors use the site so that we can measure and improve it | Yes under our current implementation |
We do not currently use cookies on erryn.io for behavioural advertising or cross-site advertising profiling.
Strictly necessary technologies
Some technologies are required for the website or a requested feature to operate properly, maintain security, prevent abuse, or remember choices such as your privacy preferences.
Where a technology is strictly necessary for the service you have requested, consent is not required. We only treat a technology as strictly necessary where its purpose genuinely falls within an applicable legal exception.
Our website is delivered and protected using Cloudflare. Depending on the security protections triggered during a visit, Cloudflare may use strictly necessary technologies to identify malicious or automated traffic, remember completion of a security challenge, apply rate limits, or maintain the security and availability of the website.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how erryn.io is used and to help us improve the website.
Analytics information may include pages viewed, session and interaction information, approximate geographic region, device and browser characteristics, referral source, and similar usage information.
We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, telephone numbers, or other directly identifying form information to Google Analytics.
Under our current configuration, analytics is treated as non-essential and is only enabled after you accept analytics through our cookie consent mechanism.
We do not use analytics information collected through erryn.io for behavioural advertising or to make decisions about individual visitors.
Technologies currently used
The table below describes the principal cookies and similar technologies used on erryn.io. Some security cookies are only created when a particular security feature or challenge is triggered.

Your cookie choices
When you first visit erryn.io, our cookie notice allows you to accept or decline non-essential technologies.
Non-essential analytics technologies are not intended to be activated before you have made the relevant choice.
You can change or withdraw your previous choice at any time using the Cookie Settings control available on the website. Withdrawing consent will prevent further use of the affected non-essential technologies.
You can also use your browser controls to view, block, or delete cookies. Browser controls operate separately from the choices provided through our website and may affect the way some website features operate.
Google Analytics opt-out
In addition to our own Cookie Settings, Google provides a Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on which can be used to prevent Google Analytics measurement on supported websites and browsers.
This is an additional option and is not a substitute for the consent controls provided on erryn.io.
Software Services
Browser-based software Services operated by Erryn.io Ltd may use additional strictly necessary technologies for functions such as account authentication, session management, security, preferences, and fraud prevention.
Where a Service uses additional non-essential analytics or similar technologies, information about those technologies and any required controls will be provided through this policy, the relevant Service, or a Service-specific notice before they are used.
LucroForge is currently in development. Before general hosted access launches, the relevant browser storage and cookie behaviour will be reviewed and this policy will be updated where necessary.
Third-party services
Some technologies used on our website are provided or operated by third parties, including Google and Cloudflare.
Our Privacy Policy explains more about these providers, how personal data may be processed, and how international transfers are handled.
Changes to this policy
We review the cookies and similar technologies used by our websites and Services periodically.
If we introduce a new technology or materially change the purpose for which an existing technology is used, we will update this policy and, where required, request a new consent choice before using it for that new purpose.
The date at the top of this page shows when this policy was last updated.
